Arlene,

That's because it's not really chocolate. It's just candy that they

call white chocolate due to the texture. I like it, also, even though

I don't like chocolate.

Yes, you start off with one grain and one fruit a day, and 3 of each

per day is the goal, if weight loss doesn't stall.

I like white chocolate too. I heard that it is not really chocolate so maybe that is why we both like it.

I lost another pound this week. Total weight loss in 4 weeks----6 lbs. Not as productive as most of you but it is better than nothing. I was really hoping I would have lost 10 lbs in a month. I have two more days until my one month mark but I doubt I will lose 4 more lbs by then. My goal now is 6 more pounds by the end of May. That will bring me to 158.

RE: Help - Phase 2... >>While I'm sure there are women who do not like chocolate. To date, I have not actually met one. :) << That would all depend on your definition. I don't like chocolate 3 weeks out of the month. Can not stand the stuff. Now that I have been on SB it has to be either sugar free or really expensive truffles. But only that one week. Maybe I have conditioned myself to this because of the stereotype but nope don't eat it. Made me sick to my stomach when I was pregnant. Growing up my best friend was allergic to chocolate so I did not get a lot of it. That might have something to do with it. Dawnn/Sunryse/Wings May the spirits of Bears and Tigers walk by your side May the God and Godess protect you and keep you safe from harm The wings of dolphins are surely strange but I will always have mine __________________________________________________

Pre SBD I craved fried onion rings with salt followed by, of course,

chocolate during MTOTM .

> I fit ' description perfectly. I LOVE chocolate! During TOM, I

am one of those that REALLY want some. Don't know if it's a " craving "

or a " want " . I try to do things like have oatmeal with a little Walden

Farms no calorie chocolate syrup in it, or a sliced apple with the

syrup on it or something like that. I do use the no calorie sryup

quite a bit. Carol

---If you feel like you eat a 'ton' now, then I would suggest you look

at your current portion sizes. Any of these is a 'serving': 2 sl of

turkey bacon, one egg, 3 oz of lean meat, 1/2 cup cooked veggies, 1 cup

salad/raw veggies, etc.

To add: 1/2 cup of berries, or 1 sm apple, 1/2 cup whole grain

hot cereal,or 1 sl of whole grain bread, etc a day is not that much.

You are adding 1 fruit and 1 starch, Simple. So you put your tuna on a

sl of whole grain toast, or mix some berries in your yogurt. Done.

I eat the low carb bars but I make sure it's only 2 grams of carbs.

Since you are in phase 2 there's also low carb ice cream as well

with only 3 carbs for 1/2 cup. So even though it's not recommended

and I'm in no means a doctor. I'm not saying to take the advice

there but those are some options. Maybe have some chocolate dipped

strawberries to which is welcome to phase 2. Take a look at the book

and it will give you an idea of how much of something to eat every

day. You can definitely have fruit I'm not sure how often though

because I just started phase 2. Just a couple slices of bread in a 2

week period and remember the heavier the bread the better it is for

you. I recommend whole grain bread. There's also some carb bread as

well for whole grain. My first day of phase 2 I lost 2 pounds so

don't worry about it the weight will come off.
