Hi Donna

According to my hair test I suffer from copper toxicity. My doctor

thinks that it's copper which is causing the burning etc. Now I just

have to find out if I have some hidden mercury problem too.

Btw, have you found any helpful supplement for this symptom? I've

found that benfotiamine + methylcobalamin + inositol help a bit.

As TK suggested I would stop using the glutathione.

If you do have a gene missing, and glutathione were a problem..one

could assume you would not be on here talking to us. Most mercury

toxic people have problems with everything including glutathione,

but supplementing is usually not helpful. Getting rid of the metals

is. I know that personally being pretty toxic..anything sulphery,

even selenium causes problems for me. It might be possible that you

can't tolerate additional sulpher right now. While I can't recall

exactly what Andy said in an older post on another board, it was

something to the effect that one would be dead if they did not have

a glutathione gene. And that supplementing glut, NAC and such was of

little value in getting well.

Also...untreated candida really make great skin burning too.

You may find you need more than the candida diet alone to get it

under control. Sometimes you need the stay on the diet and take

something to kill the yeast, and use probiotics!

Hi Jan

Yeah I've read that candida can cause the burning.. (though my doctor

says I probably don't have candida) but what about mercury or copper?

Do you know if they can cause such a symptom? My doctor is pretty

sure that it's my copper that is causing it.

Thanks

Joni

Has he actually tested for yeast? But I am sure copper or other

metals could cause that. They cause so many things in so many

people.

I get burning under my arms which began after my amalgams were

removed and continued on so badly that I could not tolerate natural

deodorant or anything on my skin. It led to peeling and redness...I

could not get rid of it. I ended up using liquid GSE to wash my

underarms...and as long as I do that..the burning, peeling is gone.

But again..many things at play and we are all different. I have yet

to find someone who has metals and does not have an underlying yeast

condition. They do kind of go hand in hand. Which is why we suggest

that anyone having a lot of troubles look into that aspect. I have

not read burning to be a symptoms but...that doesn't mean it isn't.

It would be worthy to treat the candida anyway, sinces it's fairly

cheap and easy..and if the burning is still a problem..you will know

to look elsewhere. To chelate out the copper/mercury you have to

treat yeast anyway.
