Just a quick note to say Good Morning and to also brag on myself.

I entered two ceramic pieces & one china painting in the fair this year....both

of my ceramic pieces took a " Blue Ribbon " 1st place. And my china painting (the

first thing that I ever did) took a 3rd place, White Ribbon. I'm very proud of

the 3rd place, going up against people who have been china painting for years.

I'm proud of the ceramic pieces also, but I usual do get 1st or 2nd in ceramics.

See you gal's that are going in Plainview tomorrow.

Helon just like Randy says,,,GREAT GOING ON YOUR WINS!!! You have a right to be proud. I am thrilled for you. I always wanted to do ceramics but could never affords the neccessities that were needed, like a kiln!!! LOL I had a good friend that did cerramics and I help her paint them. I loved painting them. OK I guess I am not real sharp on soemthings so what exactly are China Paintings? Love pepperRandie wrote:

I used to do ceramics ~~ many, many years ago !!!!! My mother had a little ceramic shop and it is so relaxing to do !!!! But then when people would go around our supper time (they could ring a bell to let her know they were there ~ it was right next door to us) ~~ she didn't like it interferring with her family and closed it-- this was in the early 70's ~ don't know of any local shops around here anymore !!!!! Hugs, Randie
