I just wanted to let you all know that I'm home from the hospital. Unfortunately, we still don't have answers. I was supposed to have an MRI yesterday, but I can't stand to do them in the open MRI's because they lock this mask in front of your face and I'm just a little too claustrophobic for that. Doc agreed to let me do it as an outpatient where they have a closed MRI. He wants it done before I leave for Venice, so I'll be scheduling the test today in hopes I can get in one day this week.

My INR dropped down to 1.5 before I left, so I'm going back on the coumadin with a smaller dose and I'm to recheck on Wed. That'll work out good because I have to submit my MELD score by the 28 in order to stay listed.

I'll update my site when I get the results of the MRI.

Mel, we gotta get you better BEFORE Venice!!!!!

Amen, sistah! I have an appt. with my PC doc tomorrow morning, and my MRI is scheduled for 2:00. I'm hoping to have some answers soon. I certainly hate to leave for Venice with everything up in the air.
