I also started having problems with rosacea several months after starting

Ortho-Tricyclin (three years ago). I'm not sure if there is any correlation

between the two. I plan to stop taking the birth-control pills two months

from now, since my husband and I are preparing to start a family. I'll let

you know how it goes.

It's interesting you mentioned birth control...

My husband has a theory that my rosacea was caused or triggered by

Depo-Provera. I went on Depo almost 8 years ago - and I've had rosacea for

almost 8 years now. Hmmm....

Any other women out there linked it to birth control triggers?

It seems that right after I had my son I started taking birth

control (ortho-tricyclin) and then 6 months after I started having

problems with rosacea. I wonder if it has anything to do with it. I

have thought about stopping birthcontrol but I am scared it will

really mess my skin up then.

I'm also on ortho tricyclen. I started taking it a couple months before I did

a course of Accutane. The accutane is what made the rosacea come on for me,

or so I've always thought. Maybe it was the tricyclen, or a combination of

many things. I also would like to go off of the tricyclen, but I've been on

it for about 4 years now and I'm a little apprehensive about how my skin will

react.

My stomach problems started when I was on bithcontrol pills but the rosacea

came years later. I have always thought there was some connection between

my stomach problems and the rosacea.

Interesting. I was on triphasil, and then switched to Ortho-tri-

cyclen, and that's when my symptoms started too - i went back on

triphasil eventually for other reasons - but still had rosacea.
