Guest guest
In an effort to bolster my sagging adrenals, etc. etc... I now have purchased both Isocort and Adrenal Cortex Organic Glandular from Nutricology. I appreciate all the discussion on this subject recently, especially the discussion of specific over the counter supplements to try. Now I am trying to figure out how much to take and when. The Adrenal Cortex Glandular is 250 mg. per capsule. I thought perhaps I would be best served if I divided the capsule into four or five parts and took it over the course of the day. Does anyone have any suggestions on this? I was given Isocort about 7 years ago for low adrenal function by a naturopath. I thought that it made me feel like I was having heart palapations after taking it for some time. So I quit using it. Now looking back, I realize I was having mercury problems even then. Plus I was on thyroid and a bunch of other things that could have contributed to heart palpations. I read in a post here some time back that Isocort has the equivalent of 2.5 mg. of adrenal cortex extract per tablet. Am I remembering that correctly? How much of this should I take and how often? Should I combine it with the Nutricology product or alternate? Advice and suggestions will be most appreciated. llamabb
Guest guest
I don't think you should take both of them. It might be overkill. The organic glandular you start with one capsule per day and when you start feeling run down again, add a second cap. Some people work up to three or four a day. I only needed two per day. One in the am and one in the pm. But it depends on the person. So slow and low. I cannot guide you on the isocort because I chose to use the natural stuff first. > > In an effort to bolster my sagging adrenals, etc. etc... Guest guest
**llamabb** Thank you for the information. I will try using the organic glandular once or twice today. ** > > > > In an effort to bolster my sagging adrenals, etc. etc... Guest guest
**llamabb** Thanks for that advice. Now that you mention it, I think I remember reading something Andy wrote to that effect. I did divide the capsule into 4 parts. Can't say that it did anything for me today. Perhaps I will try taking Isocort in the morning along with the whole glandular product portioned out. It sounds like that might be what I need. Thanks again.** > > > > In an effort to bolster my sagging adrenals, etc. etc...
