Winnie, I am in Pearland, south of Houston, less than 40 miles from Galveston.

Thanks, everyone for your concern. It is my choice to stay. I have one son and one daughter who are staying too. My son will be alone in his sister's new house and my daughter will be with her husband and daughter. I'll be here with Riley, my crazy dog. I have an emergency bag packed but don't plan to have to use it.

I'll be ok. Don't worry about me. I am not a stressful person and I stay calm in any situation. I'll keep in touch.

- is there no way for you to get gas anywhere?? is there a hot line or something you can call for help to get out of there? You and anyone else is more than welcome to head over here - we've got room!! (and I"m not going anywhere LOL)

Please get out of there !!!!!!!!!!! Pearland is too close to the coast !!!!!!!!!

Alvin and the rest are in danger also.

My kin that are down there in that area, I cannot reach, so I hope they are on the way west.

All the rest of our loop in that area- please- evacate while you can.

I heard from some of the Truckers that there no gas on the main highways out of Houston and the Coast. They had to get off on the side roads and get gas in the small towns. If you can, you need to fill up before you leave as there are cars stalled on the roads out of gas and no way to get to where they can fill up.

I know I am probly telling you stuff you already know- but-

I am worried about all of you down in that area.

Please let us know asap how you are ! Well, when ever you can!
