Guest guest
Lise, I switched doctors because my PCP was from an older generation that still believes it's a matter of self control. I had the surgery on August 9th with the blessing of my new and younger PCP and I feel like a million dollars. C 299/265/

Guest guest
You are SO much better off with the practice that is very cautious!! Their interest seems to lie in long term success for their patients and not the quick buck. I was the only one from this great medical group. My medical group had me do a full psychiatric exam and two appointments, I have to sign a contract to change my lifestyle and committ to better health and healthy eating, including continued therapy either in groups or individual. They also won't let you go for surgery until they have determined that you don't have other symptoms like sleep apnea (I had the testing and I have it bad but wouldn't have found out without going for the rest), and they suggest a stomach endoscopy to make sure you have no problem with your stomach as they won't be able to access it after the surgery. So is the first doctor the norm and my people are just too over done, or what?
