Guest guest
Why not try the untinted Zinc-O? It shouldn't leave that white pasty film you described, though you do have to rub it in completely or you may see a whitish residue in places. --- esp@... wrote: > I have problems with the chemical sunscreens as you > might expect so > that leaves me to use physical sunscreens. Guest guest
Maybe you could try Super City Block SPF 25 or City Block SPF 15, from Clinique. You can check them on Clinique web page : http://www.clinique.com/templates/products/search.tmpl I use Super City Block for 2 years, and love it very much. I wear a moisturizer underneath it tough. Hope this helps, Bye, Francine > I have problems with the chemical sunscreens as you might expect so > that leaves me to use physical sunscreens. Guest guest
The purpleemu.com folks have a zinc--micronized--physical sunscreen that is called " Solo 15 " I can't use the chemical sunscreens on my face, either, because with the heat, the chemicals cause me to go flaring red and bumpy; I can, however, use the chemical sunscreens on the rest of me...just NOT on my FACE! They are on the web--I have a dinosaur of a computer, but i'm fairly certain, the address is purple emu . com (no spaces in between, of course) hope this helps Carol esp@... wrote: > > I have problems with the chemical sunscreens as you might expect so > that leaves me to use physical sunscreens. Guest guest
Or try Marcelle - Protective Block - for sensitive skin (no chemical sunscreen) active ingredients: titanium dioxide 7.75%, zinc oxide 1.95% It goes on very smooth & you can use just a very thin layer (thicker if you want) It shows whitish at first but absorbs in pretty quick. Its the only kind I've found nonirritating. K > I have problems with the chemical sunscreens as you might expect so > that leaves me to use physical sunscreens.
