Guest guest
donna: from what i've learned==> soap does not need a label unless you make a claim.... " moisturizing, softening, antiaging, etc " . Claims put soap into the Cosmetic classification. It is my understanding that ALL cosmetics, ~including lotions~ m/b labeled with ingredients and testing must occur if you sell over state lines. I've seen this batted around with many experienced, professionals and all of them do not agree on everything. i'm sure there is much that can be added by people more knowledgeable. there is a web site, i'll find for you, however, don't expect any government agency to make things clear <vbg>. I've heard of people more confused after talking one on one with the fda people. it's one of those things. i'll find the addy and post for you. larrae > Hello gang!!!
