Guest guest
Hi all, I just got a call from my general doc who told me an ultrasound done on my kidneys shows bilateral damage - cortical thinning. I just realized this weekend after reading the beautiful brochures that Barb (Thanks) so quickly sent that an elevated creatinine is a sign of psc. Can't believe I didn't know this after having this disease for so long. My kidney function tests came back elevated last week so my doc checked on diabetes as a possible cause since my blood glucose was high also. Fortunately the tests came back negative for that. But now kidney damage? I couldn't find anything about cortical thinning and the nurse didn't really give me anything more to go on and said they wanted me to see a renal specialist. Anyone having a similar problem? Thanks!
