Guest guest
Hi everybody!! This is my first posting, so bare with me. My name is Adam and i am a twenty year old engineering student in toronto, canada. I have recently been diagnosed with rosacea. I first noticed symptoms when i was sixteen, but was told by doctors that it was a change in my complexion, and nothing else. I have been struggling with rosacea on my own since then. I just prior to my diagnosis i found out that there were treatments for this condition, and every since i have been very eager to treat my conditions. Just over 1.5 weeks ago i recieved my first intense pulsed light treatment, in toronto, by a dermatologist that was trained by Dr. Bitter. I have not noticed great improvements yet and i am wondering if i have good benefits to look forward to. My dermatologist told me that it would take 4-6 weeks to notice the changes. Is this correct. If anyone has any other treatments or ideas for me to try please let me know. Many aspects of my life are suffering because of this condition. I avoid face to face confrontations while i'm having a flare up, it affects my social life, i don't exercise as hard as i want to because it makes my face more red. I need some help please. I'm only twenty years old and i can't live my entire life avoiding certain situations. Please respond.
