Hi,

At the moment I am sucessfully doing the following to remove makeup

with out too much irritation (I agree you don't want to be a hermit

so it's all about damage limitation1):

I use 's Ph 5.5, 3 in 1 facial cleansing wipes. I find I

don't need to rub too hard with the wipe to remove foundation and eye

makeup, don't think they are much good with mascara though, but I

don't use it anyway as it irritates my eyes too much. After the wipe

I rinse thoroughly with cool water to remove the product in the wipe

from my face and then apply whatever topical product you use (for me

I slap on a lot of aloe vera gel which minimises any potential

irritation from the cleansing wipe and when it's dry follow up with

moisturiser - I use the cetaphil moisturising cream as my derm

recommended but I know some can't use that).

This is currently working well for me. I think this is partly

because the wipes are pretty gentle but also they don't have to be in

contact with the face very long and I rinse any excess off after.

The aloe vera then soothes any residual irritation. I am not getting

redness or bumps the next day and I don't use this every day, try not

to wear makeup too often.

Nivea and Olay also do wipes but I haven't tried theirs.

I guess you would need to check ingredients etc and just try and see

if it works for you.

Hope this is of some help.

Many thanks for the tips. Is the brand just " 's " or is it

" & 's " ? Would the wipes be easy to find? At K-mart,

Wal-mart, etc.?

Many thanks,
