Guest guest
Hi all! Today is my 1-year postop anniversary for Surgery 1. Since I needed 2 surgeries, this date isn't as important as the second surgery date in terms of an " anniversary " , but the memories are flooding back to me as to how I felt exactly 1 year ago today (just waking from surgery right about now this time last year). It gave me a reminder of what many of you are experiencing right now, either waiting for your dates or in the healing process. For all the new postoppers, hang in there and take it day by day. For the preoppers, the waiting stinks and is hard and long, but your day will come. For those going in soon, you may be feeling nervous and anxious and that is normal! I'd worry for folks who go into this without a care in the world. But keep busy and focused on the goal. I truly admire all of you. I think we are one bunch of brave, tough, strong and fantastic folks! Irish!
