Hook up probs

Hey ya'll,

Well I guess we messed up. I thought I would be smart and switch to

DSL, this was last Tues while Belle was being groomed. They told me 5

business days but forgot to mention they were closed yesterday for it's

called Seward's Day. It's a state holiday for the guy who bought Alaska

from the Russians. Anyway, I finally got Mike to hook up the modem last

night thinking for sure it was hooked up. Well my phone had been quiet

all morning and then it rang twice, it was Mike but he hung up so I

called him back, love caller ID. He said it rang and rang so he hung

up thinking I was on the tread. Well while were talking I kept hearing

noises like somebody else dialing and stuff then when I hung up with

him I decided to check the line and called from my cel phone. It just

kept ringing on the cel phone but the home phone never did..... blah

blah blah...... call the phone company and they said it could be

because my DSL isn't all hooked up yet and told me to just put things

back to the way they were for now. Thing is, I have no idea what is

what and can't get a hold of Mike now. Oh well, I'm staying on line,

just can't dial out or get calls on my home phone. Mike can do it when

he gets home which hopefully wont be too late. It's not that I need the

phone right now. I just don't like it when things aren't the way they

are supposed to be! :-P

The interesting thing here is the reason Mike called! Some of you may

remember me saying that he and I had rather heated discussions about

what kind of vehicle to get? Haaaaa............ wellllll he called to

say he just came from Ford and was looking at the Ford Escape for me!

LOL I'm sorry, am I enjoying this too much? I have been eyeing those

for awhile, either that or the Jeep Liberty. See I like my Jeep Grand

Cherokee Loredo but have always felt it was too big since it is just me

in it 99% of the time. We looked at the Liberty's when they first came

out and I love them! They are just like my Jeep now but smaller!!!!!!

So, looks like I will be getting the vehicle I want after all his

arguing with me. *shaking head* He has to be soo difficult sometimes!

Not me, of course *smiling sweetly* I never am! LOL It's just in this

case, I knew and he knew I was right.

Ok, anyway, just had to vent and ramble. I'm procrastinating. Time to

get on the tread. You all have a good one.
