What you want to do is get Broda ' superb book on

hypothyroidism. Broda was an MD and PhD who devoted his life

to studying the thyroid - U of Chicago and elsewhere - came up with

some fascinating insights, and was then cold shouldered.

Cutler alludes to his work, but it is only in reading his book that

you really get it.

Hypothyroidism: The Unsuspected Illness

said to ignore any and all blood work, as all that it says is

how much hormone is in the blood, and not what it is doing, and rather

to test what it is doing by measuring your body temperature upon

waking up. He treated several thousand people with amazing results;

amazon has quite a few grateful reviewers whose life he totally changed.

half.com sells it for $2.50.
