Guest guest
Hi Peg, You need to eat 6 times a day in small amounts. Some days I did feel hungry but others I didn't. When you eat a little or drink are you feeling filled up? Most people can't drink a whole lot in the beginning. I don't think you are expected to. You have to get 6 meals in plus water and it's best not to drink water 1/2 hour before or 1/2 hour after a meal so that you don't fill up too much. Maybe you should try making the CIB with a cup of milk and then a couple hours after you finish eat the yogurt. As for taking pills, you also need to space them out. I found it hard in the first few weeks because I take lots of medication and between the water, food, pills I had to actually write out a schedule and stick to it for a couple weeks. I just comes natural now and I am almost 10 weeks post op. If you are taking pills it is almost like treating it as a meal and making sure that you don't drink water or have food too close to taking them. I hope this is helpful.
