I'm feeling like I don't need it so much any more (my heart hardly ever

pounds like it used to) and I've been given permission by the docs to cut

down if I want. I'm taking 20 mg(or whatever) 3X a day. What I've been

doing is stretching out the time in between so that I'm taking about 2 a

day. Unfortunately, I'm not getting very far. I've tried this a couple of

times and this is what always happens:

By the time the second day of this comes around - day two of taking 2 pills,

I can't stand it anymore. Every little thing aggravates me and I get angry

and feel violent. It's bad. So then I take a pill and feel better in about

1/2 an hour.

I feel addicted. How do I get off these things? Or is this my body telling

me that I still need them? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

Pam B.(the propanolol addict)
