Guest guest
Hi Jim, Sounds like you're still hypo. When I go hypo, I'm cold if the temperature is less than 80 degrees fahrenheit (27 degrees celsius). Since my work is kept around 72 degrees fahrenheit, I went to work with three layers of sweaters. It'll probably another four weeks before the temperature feels more normal to you. Hope that helps. Betty mailto:bettyy@... > : > > I had my 2nd RAI (100 mc I-131) treatment last Monday. I seem to have gotten a head cold while I was in the hospital from Monday through Wednesday. I don't have any elevated body tempature. In fact, I have found it extremely cold the past few days. However, the weather up here in my part of Canada has been unusually cold (0-3/5 degrees celsius) for the past two-three weeks, so I don't know whether its me or the weather or a combination of both. I have heard that individuals with thyroid disease have more trouble dealing with cold weather then those who have normal thyroids? Can anyone confirm? > > Thanks, Jim
