Guest guest
simply take one day at a time and dont over diet, eat what you want in moderations, enjoy your diet and also do exercise , it need not I plan on taking it one day and one week at a time. I am aware that my body takes a break after loosing for a couple of weeks so that is why I said it may take me a bit longer. I lost for two weeks and then turttled. I am also aware that I over ate on a couple of occasions. I found the question and answer session, tho a bit to long, was interesting. One question in particular What is your trigger and how did you handle it? Was asked of some KOPS. Most of them said they didn't allow it in the house, however I do, if it is a measured amount then hide it in the back of the lower cabinet, have a hard time bending over and reaching it, if its out of sight it can be out of mind, after indulging in a measured amount. A little bit now and then can keep me from over indulging on something else. Betty

Guest guest
I liked the panel question about the "triggers", too - - chocolate is mine - and I don't keep it in the house! I don't care where I put it - it would still be accessible, and would not be forgotten! I agree that "measured" amounts of anything are ok, but anything chocolate is NOT going to be eaten in measured amounts, unless that "measured amount" is all I bring home from the store! One lady said she liked ice cream, but she buys the small cups and eats only one - and is not tempted to dip out a larger amount from a larger container. Good idea - - And I've noticed that you can buy a lot of snacks now in individual 100 calorie packages, so that would be a good idea, too. I think 100% of us have trouble with "PORTION CONTROL!" Stick to your goals, my friend, and I'll see you Thursday night with another loss!! (((HUGS))) ClaraEMAIL Peanuts are one of my triggers, Calvin likes them also, I buy them dryroasted no salt. they don't taste as well! However if I don't hide them they call me. Last night I read the label and really was horrifided. As for chocolate it calls but not as loud, perhaps because I get sugar free fudgesycle brand icecream snacks. One is worth 40 calories and altho a serving is two one is enough. Betty

Guest guest
100% of us have trouble with "PORTION CONTROL!"I'll have to say a big AMEN to that statement. That is my down fall, I eat the right foods, just way too much of them. Helon, I'm right there with y'all on this one. I gave up eating sweets a while back and now eat the foods that I'm supposed to but know my portions are bigger than they should be but it seems like without that "extra" I am hungry all the time. I still crave my sweets so bad and I pat myself everyday on the back for passing them up. I feel like an alcoholic going to AA meetings.....I day at a time, one hour at a time.....hope it gets easier as more time goes by. It's only been about 2 months, so much for that 3 week theory. Guest guest
100% of us have trouble with " PORTION CONTROL! " I'll have to say a big AMEN to that statement. That is my down fall, I eat the right foods, just way too much of them. Like my flax seed that I bought - can't remember to use it - so now it is sitting out on my cabinet! > > I liked the panel question about the " triggers " , too - - chocolate is mine - and I don't keep it in the house! I don't care where I put it - it would still be accessible, and would not be forgotten! I agree that " measured " amounts of anything are ok, but anything chocolate is NOT going to be eaten in measured amounts, unless that " measured amount " is all I bring home from the store! One lady said she liked ice cream, but she buys the small cups and eats only one - and is not tempted to dip out a larger amount from a larger container. Good idea - - And I've noticed that you can buy a lot of snacks now in individual 100 calorie packages, so that would be a good idea, too. I think 100% of us have trouble with " PORTION CONTROL!
