Guest guest
Well this time I just through a bag of frozen edeme out of the shell on the bottom of the casserole and baked them with the chicken and sauce. It's great in soups and stews. I also boil them for around 3 min in salted water then flash cool them (place them in ice water) and will just munch on them. You can cook them in the shells this way also (it makes the eating go slower!). Some times I sprinkle a little lemon juice on them for a change in flavors. When buying them really check out the fiber and fat. They very from each brand, I was shocked to find this out! -- Re: Journal | >-----------------------------------------------------------| Well here is how Monday ended up! Guest guest
Can you eat the shells? Or can you buy them shelled? I really don't like having to fight my food! Guest guest
You would not want to eat the shells. And yes you can buy them already shelled. I like the ones in the shell when I'm in a munchey mood. All you do is basically squeeze them and pop them into your mouth. This keeps my hands busy and slows down my eating And anything that slows down my eating is a good thing!
