or bad when one has mercury poisoning? Any comments or experiences

you've had and can share? I'm asking because I've been prescribed it

for MCS and while it seems to help the brain fog and symptom relief

of the MCS I'm also getting what

I deem to be mercury detox symptoms and heard that glutathione

chelated mercury.

TK--- it doesn't chelate Hg but it can make you much worse and is not

recommended.

Now my question is (and I asked my ND the same thing) if taking DMSA with

glutathione would be okay? I'm thinking the glut will stir it up and the DMSA

will bind and carry it out.

Also can glut be taken when mercury body burden is reduced to a low level?

I'm asking because glut is highly recommended for MCS by those in front of the

EI field. I'm trying to figure out how I can restore my levels without mercury

making me ill.

TK--- it redistributes more Hg and makes the Hg symptoms worse -

headaches, brain fog, pain etc......

Whoa. I can tell you from my experience with my son (Autism) is that

supplementing with glutathione has been a NIGHTMARE! It made him

immediately ill: severe cramps, diarrhea, emotional wreck. Not too

sure what happened.

I've looked at raising levels or making what my son produces more

useful by adding Vitamin C, selenium, N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), whey

protein powders.

I haven't had any levels checked since 12/2004. We have been

chelating for a year and it would be interesting to see if chelation

itself has restored glutathione levels.

The above link has a page about raising glutathione levels. I can't

vouch for it's accuracy entirely, but I thought it was interesting

and I had heard much of it before. If you click on " FYI " on the left

hand side of the page you can see the 'raising GSH levels' link. It

was too long to copy so I just posted the site.

Pretty much says ingesting glutathione is a waste of time.
