Hello ,

If I read your message correctly YOU BAKED AND DIDN'T GORGE - my giddy aunt,

you've got the formula I'd kill for.

It sure sounds as if you got plenty done on your 'free' day. As for not using

your time profitably, I think I have the names of a couple of people who would

just love it if you could go and 'waste' a day at their house!!! Am I right

I know what you mean about the tug-of-conscience between desire and cupboard

space. I would think i had died and gone to heaven if I had free rein in a

kitchenware store without having to worry about storage space.

The 'flying mattress' incident must have been scary - I'm glad you emerged

unscathed. I've heard of flying carpets but flying beds is something quite new

for me!!!

How long did it take you to gain 75 pounds ? A little longer than a few

months I expect. Be patient and don't try to rush the weight loss. Give you

body and brain time to adjust to the 'new ' without trying to 'get there

yesterday'. 14.5 lbs in 6 weeks is an average of 2.4 lbs per week and, allowing

for larger losses initially, that is about what doctors and nutritionists

recommend.
