Guest guest
I think they are similar, both are browning/seasoning sauces. When I was typing I couldn't remember which I had used and had to go check my cabinet-- I'm not sure if KB is GF, I think I read somewhere it has trace amount of gluten in it and I couldn't find it on a website. I trust Gravy master since it has a website that states that it is Gluten Free and tells what all the ingredients are derived from. ( http://www.gravy.com/about/nutritional.html ) Funny I did the same thing with the Gravy master- thought I was out, bought a new bottle and now have two and both are open. I use it fairly often though so not worried about it going bad. I don't really measure but I think I used about a teaspoon (maybe a little more?) just enough to add coloring and a bit more flavor. :-) Re: What's for Dinner (last night) Yummy Chicken & Rice Is Gravy Master the same as Kitchen Bouquet. Guest guest
I really asked because I have not seen it in the stores I frequent. Admittedly, I don't look EVERY time I go either! I also like that it says it's gluten free!! k --- " :-) " wrote: > I think they are similar, both are browning/seasoning sauces. > When I was typing I couldn't remember which I had used and had > to go check my cabinet-- > I'm not sure if KB is GF, I think I read somewhere it has > trace amount of gluten in it and I couldn't find it on a > website. Guest guest
They are essentially the same thing, but KB isn't gf (may be one reason Bette Hagman stayed sick - she used it in her books and no doubt her recipes for years before they admitted it was not gf). Gravy Master is gf. > -----Original Message----- > > > Is Gravy Master the same as Kitchen Bouquet.
