you've been on my porch?? i just found the top of the dryer today...

my but it was a BLUSTERY day! i went out and planted some bareroot

roses and jasmine. i know i can't make eo's from these, but is there a

specific rose plant that rose water is made from? the lavender colored

roses are very fragrant.....but i wasn't sure if there was a prescribed

flower that is used for this process. anyone know??

i went to a local nursery and dang.......i live in this agricultural

metropolis and can't find a potted herb to buy anywhere. has anyone

else noticed the price of seeds skyrocketing? i just got a Spring Hill

Nurseries ( www.myseasons.com ) catalog in the mail. I've never mail

ordered plants, but i might just give it a try.

and another kind of related question....i was perusing the back of my

daughter's herbal essence shampoo and noticed all these plant extracts.

comfrey, chamomile, passionflower, blah blah, etc. do these come in a

bottle like an eo? the first ingredient is water, then sls, then these

extracts. i'm thinking the portion of extract if prolly very small.

does it make a difference or is this a marketing ploy? i thought it was

interesting the front of the bottlle claimed 99% natural. now

please..........water yes...but sls?? i don't think so.

and did list mom ever tell us about her day and the " what's hot and

what's not " list?

okay, back to the laundry........
