Guest guest
Hi everybody I'm really really sick with a flare up so I'm going to do a scatter-shot and back to bed. I get SSI. 1. Fill out all the forms even the ridiculous questions, and when you answer, answer as if you are in a severe flare-up. 2. You will be turned down, probably three times. A lot of lawyers won't even talk to you until you've been turned down 3 times. If there is a Disability Center in your town, go there and try to get information and find a lawyer. You absolutely need a lawyer when you get a hearing - the final step. It was 1 & 1/2 years from the time I applied to the time I got a hearing. Then you just tell the " judge " what your life is like and why you can't work. Get a letter from your doctor saying you can't work. When I went to my hearing I was flaring up, I think just from the stress of it. I had to leave the room to throw up. My daughter came with me and asked if she could say something. She broke down in tears and said how she had to take care of me and do so much all during her teenage years, the stress was so bad on us, and my marriage broke up, and she was scared about how sick I was all the time. Well that clinched it. I got it. But I didn't get the other kind of disability because of some paperwork technicality (thank you despicable ex husband). 3. No matter what happens, keep trying, keep appealing, don't stop, don't take no for an answer. That's all I can get out now, I'm too sick... love, Vimala

I'd also like to do some crafts to sell, but haven't had the energy to do that. What kind of crafts do you make? How do you sell them? Guest guest
I get the energy, spin into it full force, and stop. Deader than a door nail. Then the next day, I try again. And boom! A few are almost done. Then, finally, a week or two later I finish them and take them to a local hair salon and hang them on her wall.
