Not expecting these results!

Ok - now I'm totally thrown off kilter here!

I just called to get the results of the blood work, and she told me

that she hadn't run it past the Dr yet, but (knowing I'm the

Community Health RN for our town) she gave me a quick blurb. She

said that DS12 is positive, I am one point above normal which she

says is not really positive. (??) (I'm guessing 12 was my number?!)

and DD15 and DH are both negative. This totally puzzles me since DH

and DD are the ones with all the symptoms!!!!! As far as food goes,

I am not bothered by anything - just that we wanted this done as a

family to be sure. DS eats EVERYTHING gluten and is not affected

(but he gets a similar rash to hubby in the heat of summer time.) DH

gets/has a rash that is the poster child for DH (LOL! That still

sounds funny!) DD15 gets horrible stomach pains/cramps after about

10 - 20 minutes after she eats. This has been going on for about 2

years or so, and these tests were to be almost a " proof positive " for

her. And, for them to come back negative?! I had already discussed

with them about false negatives, and that no matter how the tests

were to come back, we would go gf for a while just to see how we all

felt.

So, we're to probably going to have to see a GI doc for DS. (Let me

say that I am not thrilled with ANY of the GI docs here!)
