Milia a part of rosacea

I was diagnosed with rosacea two years ago but have probably had it for a good

six

years. I have some mild redness, broken capillaries on my nose, cheeks, and

chin,

and a rough, dry texture to my skin.

But what bothers me most about the rosacea is the milia, small white bumps

largely

beneath the skin's surface, that I get. I never had these before I had rosacea.

At first my dermatologist said they were unrelated but now she thinks they are

caused by the inflammation of rosacea.

Does anyone else have a problem with milia and if so, have you been able to stop

the outbreaks.

Thanks,

I don't know if this is the same thing as you've described, but I've

always had these tiny, hard bumps right underneath the skin. They

don't itch, hurt or anything. They are flesh colored. I started

getting them years before developing rosacea. Once when I went for a

facial, the esthetician pricked it with a needle and squeezed out the

hard bump. It went away but eventually grew back.
