Re: What to do after Photoderm??

Hi Simon -- I know you've probably seen this suggestion on the egroup

before, especially in the posts about Mark's diet, but I'm going to

go ahead and reiterate -- try taking olive oil every day.

Let me tell you why: I had a couple of Photoderm treatments, and felt

I was getting very miniscule results. In the middle of my treatments,

I began taking olive oil, 2 tablespoons after breakfast, and 2

tablespoons on my salad at night. A week after I began doing this, I

had an appt with my derm, and he commented on how pale my face was. I

also noticed I was not flushing much at all. I mistakenly thought it

was the Photoderm that was helping.

But I found out differently. Recently, I tapered down the olive oil

to every couple of days, and guess what? My redness and flushing came

back as bad as ever. I realized the connection and started taking it

again regularly, and within a few days, my face is okay again, and I

haven't had ANY flushing. This is too much of an instant improvement

to be coincidence.

It's a lot cheaper (and safer) than Photoderm. -- Barbara S.

You're right about that. I had to do without horseradish for a few

days and my stomach started hurting like crazy again. I also got a

papule or two. When I got the horseradish, the symptoms went away.
