(at least that is how I feel) Before my ep I knew I wanted to have kids and knew I was not getting any younger but I did not have that really strong feeling like some people talk about having. My dh was the one who really wanted a baby. We said we'd try and see what happened. Well, ever since my ep I long to have a baby. Funny, huh? Now it couldn't happen soon enough for me.... Keri, I hope things work out for you and Heath. You do whatever you feel is right. Sometimes, if we wait for try to plan everything, they might never happen. Guest guest
AmyR I use to always say I'd wait until I finished school. Than my dh started his own business not long ago and I said maybe we should wait but my dh wanted to try. He was the one saying " if you wait until a perfect time, it might never come. " I said we'd try and see what happened, never thinking going through anything like an ep. Guest guest
This spotting with an ep must be very different for every woman. I had nothing you could call " spotting " , I bled very, very heavily for almost 2 weeks before the surgery. I was misdiagnosed with a miscarriage and sent home from the er after being told I had already lost the pregnancy. I have no idea if a tube might bleed during implantation but now I wonder if the blood I lost was from the uterus (as I assumed) or if it came from the tube?? I know I didn't rupture until the doctor was already cutting me so I do know it wasn't CAUSED by rupture...hhmmm... More unanswered questions...I thought my doctor discussed this with me, but I can't remember what he said. Anyways, I was just thinking about all of this and maybe someone will figure it out but I know it won't be me...lol...KJ
Guest guest
> Is it not normal for you to have spotting with an ep? My ep was also quite a surprise pg since I was on bcp. I did have spotting, but it wasn't what would be considered implantation spotting...it was well after the time period in which implantation would have occurred...I don't know exactly when that was for me since I really shouldn't have been ovualting at all, but I do know that I was 4-6wks so the spotting that I had was one of the things that made me worry something was wrong. I just wondered if that is what happened to you and as well...that you had spotting, but not necessarily implantation spotting. Implantation spotting typically occurs about 6-12 days post ovualtion or about 3-4 weeks since last menstrual period (if the woman ovulated about day 14 of the her cycle). I was just curious.... -AmyR

Guest guest
AmyR My spotting was before af was due and only lasted a day than it went away. After I was tested +pg, about 4 weeks or so later I began to spot, sometimes alot but it didn't go away and had pains that came and went that is when they thought something was wrong. The spotting that lasted a day was around the time implantation would take place, I think. I never really thought about it until now. I thought it was normal implantation....but it sounds like I am the only one who had spotting before af was due to arrive. Spotting with an ep is normal, but now I don't know what I had beforehand. --- amrichey@... wrote: > > Is it not normal for you to have spotting with an > ep? > > My ep was also quite a surprise pg since I was on > bcp. Guest guest
Hey Keri, yes, it was my first cycle. I had hsg last month. (I have heard that you are more fertile after having hsg...who knows)...but it can happen to ANYONE here. I only have one tube, so the chances were not as great. I can't even believe it. I did two test, but I want the dr to do the bw Monday. It does seem so quick, it is hard to believe. I am still dealing with all the ep emotions and this (though truly great news) has those emotions right there...I am trying to stay positive. Thank you.
