mouth/tongue pain lessens

Hi Everyone,

Here's the mouth score: after two days of absolute misery so the best thing

I could do was sleep - since I began the Zinc lozenges (which I already had

in my supplement cupboard for some reason) and the sublingual B12 I felt

immediate relief coming. I felt a stoppage of the horrible tingling/burning.

I still use a tiny bit of the Nystatin and it still seems to rid my mouth

and tongue of tiny bits of tissue and I rinse them out with slightly salted

water.

I keep wondering if those are the remnants of the gray covering some of you

write about. My food has continued to be tasty, except for those two days

when I ate almost nothing; but I did drink the Yu Beverage Rice Milks.

Yesterday I was panicked and couldn't force myself to take the Synthroid, in

case it really was the cause (it was day 12 since I began taking it for the

first time); and I hurt so badly I couldn't talk for the pain so calling my

doc was out of the question. Today I'm not hurting very badly, but my mouth

sides and tongue are very tender, but I am feeling so hypo (my TSH is still

around 37) that it was all I could do to scoot outside in my bathrobe to

move my car out of the way of the leaf-blower, only to find out the battery

was dead again. Unwilling to call AAA two times in a week for the same thing

I imposed on a neighbor's son who was so kind to clean the connectors; and

then I was stuck again driving around for half an hour to charge it back up.

Oh yes, I had changed into clothing before he came with the chargers. That

was all I could do today, but answer a few emails, so I think maybe I'll

call my Endo with the info on Monday. Oh, I did take 1/2 Synthroid today.

Well, I wanted to update all of you who were so kind to write to me about

this.

For future reference: Sublingual B12; Zinc lozenges; Nystatin; lactobacillus

acidophilus; one Benadryl each day.
