Sam's vitamens

I spoke to someone from the company that makes some of the vitamens for the Sam's label. He said the label will state whether it has gluten or not. I think he even said they have gluten free written somewhere on the label. Now I can't remember the exact detail, but I verified with him that I could trust the label and he said "yes". The bottle I had at home was an older run and listed starch as an ingredient. He indicated that their were no mystery ingredients on the vitamens if they were manufactored by his company. We were specifically talking about the childrens animal shaped chewables, but his company makes other products for Sams.
