Don,

Star is really into accepting yourself as you are. She believes that

trying to fit into society's idea of beauty and thin is not good. What

she told me in an email is that she believes in people making and

informed choice and to do it for their health. She thinks that a lot of

people have WLS to fit into societys idea of normal. She may be big but

she is also healthy so she hasn't felt thet health reasons herself yet

but she may in the furture.

Well, that's refreshing to hear about what Star feels. I must say that it is

a very smart way of looking at it. I was telling somebody just the other day,

that with all the publicity this is getting, I'm really afraid that people will

get it just for that reason. And you know that there be crook or some quack

doctor who will cash in on people's insecurities. I hope I'm wrong.
