I haven't tried it yet, but people have suggested to substitute quinoa

for oats.

Oh my goodness, I though everyone had

heard of them. Monster cookies have oatmeal, peanut butter, m & m’s

the rest of the basics and some people even put chocolate chips in them. Maybe

I’ll try a batch with quinoa flakes and see how they turn out this weekend.

What’s a monster cookie? I used

quinoa flakes in a chocolate no-bake cookie and it worked well. I was thinking

that soy flakes might work as an oatmeal substitute sometimes too, but

haven’t tried it yet.
