I'm so glad to hear that you are having a good day. I'm the same way-

-some people's pregnancies affected me different than others. My pg

friends that acknowledged that I had a loss and that I was going

through a hard time were the easiest for me to be happy for. But, I

also had some friends that wouldn't stop talking about themselves and

their babies-to-be long enough to ask me how I am ...

emotions did jump out. I guess it would be hard to

avoid all pg people the rest of my life, huh?

Seriously, sometimes, I am ok with it and other days

it is alittle harder. I guess that is all part of the

process. Here is hoping for lots of good days ahead

for you!!

I HAD (that is the key word) a friend who found out

she was pg about 3 months before I did and when I

found out I was pg I hadn't told her yet, than I had

ep. Well, after surgery and all, I still didn't want

to call her, so I wrote a letter asking how she was

doing and explained what happened to me....and got a

letter back saying one sentence re my loss " sorry

about your baby situation! " and a whole letter about

her! After I received a couple of messages on my

machine saying things like, " Hope you are enjoying the

holidays and Happy New Year " and inviting me to baby

shower....I " explained " how I felt and that I no

longer wanted to be friends!....it is sad, but some

people really are selfish and/or don't understand.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost a friend due to her insensitivity

over your ep. I almost lost one too. I finally got bold enough to

let her that I was upset with her. Even though we are still friends,

I still remember how she was--it was so disappointing.

Yeah, but I questioned how good of a friend she was

after all the comments she said and the things she

didn't say, ya know? I mean some people say things,

and I don't think they really think before they speak

and others just don't care.

I am glad you were able to speak to your friend, but

it is hard to forget.It is a shame though.
