My favorite ist he second kind that you mentioned - with the plastic

snappy thing. I have the eye/hook ones, too and can't close them

without looking!

I have a friend who uses a sports bra and, when we talked about it

last, she thought that worked best for her. Didn't for me but

everyone's different. I think the one you describe from motherhood.com

sounds interesting - I bet it would be discreet.

I had a nursing bra once that I got at Fred Meyer. It was just stretchy elastic cups...no clasp or anything...you just stretched it open. That was kind of nice...however it didn't take long for the elastic to wear out.

That's what I was thinking. I mean if I could just reach in a little and as I

was

bringing her to latch on I could unsnap and pull it to the side (in theory LOL)

that would be way more discreet than unhooking my bra getting the breast out

and getting the flap out of the way etc etc etc. Here is the link to it and its

only

$18.00. (compared to motherwear for 33+).

http://MotherhoodNursing.com/Product.asp?Product_Id=95642008

Another thing I like about it is its got the inner band for more support. I

went

back to the older bras I was wearing without the band and I felt like I didnt

have a bra on at all! Absolutely no support.

I'm either going to go over there tonight or one day in the future and pick one

up. Luckily we have one about 25 minutes from my house. There is also a

Motherhood outlet about 40 minutes away...but I rarely have that much extra

time. :)

" I think the one you describe from motherhood.com

sounds interesting - I bet it would be discreet. "

I bought one of those style from motherhood. Didn't like it and finally

threw it in the trash. I think I have weird taste, though. I actually like

the Medela underwires that everyone else hates. I mean, " like " relative to

other nursing bras, not in general.

The one I bought from Motherhood is not the same as the picture just posted, so ignore my message below. The one I bought had snaps in the front but just an elastic band when unsnapped.

Sorry.

Jen,

I use bras that have no flaps. I hate messing around with the hooks and

latches. I end up with my hands up my shirt wrestling around for way too

long! LOL I use bras from http://www.decentexposures.com I just pull them

down under my breast and then it pulls up very easily when i am done. :)

Just wondering which bras you guys find the easiest to use. I've tried the

front flap eye hook at the top kind...and they really made it hard to nurse

in

public.

Then I found the ones at JCPenney and those are the same thing as the

others I had, but they had a different kind of closure. Its not a snap like

on

clothes but it does snap. MUCH easier to do and undo in public. you dont

have to look like you do with the eye hook ones.

Then all the talk about the nursing shirts (I had just happened to buy a

lansinoh nursing t-shirt at walmart yesterday) peaked my interest and I went

to

motherwear.com. They have bras that snap on the sides in the middle...and

that seams like a really good idea. The less time I fidget under my shirt

the

happier I am. SO I just wondered if they really are a good idea. ??

That is one of the things that I love about http://www.decentexposures.com bras. They don't wear out quickly at all. They are pretty pricey but well worth the money. I have never had longer lasting bras then these. :)
