I'm not much help! Does it say the type of fish? Because some are higher in

mercury than others.-------Jackie

Anybody know about this?

-----------I know if you are low, then it is important to supplement it. You

need it to properly absorb minerals, like calcium, and it probably has other

benefits, that I can't think of right now. It is a fat soluable vitamin,

meaning your body stores it, so you can become toxic in it if you take way too

much. (Not like Vit C, where your body just gets rid of the excess and it

doesn't build up and harm you.) So take what your doctor recommends, and it

should be something that he rechecks the level of once in awhile, because once

you bring your levels up, he should reduce your dosage. I am currently taking

3000iu a day, per a doctor, but should have it retested. I am switching

doctors, and will have to ask the new one to do it.---------Jackie
