Guest guest
Hi, ! I heard a friend mention she had made an ice box cake recipe she found on a graham cracker box. It used instant pudding, Cool Whip, and graham crackers. She, also, shared another similar recipe which used the same ingredients, BUT had a CAN of prepared chocolate frosted softened and spread on top (this was " Eclair Cake " ). Points for either of these recipes were between 5 and 6 points per serving! I thought they sounded good, but were not point friendly enough for me. *wink* Soooo....I invented a third recipe - - " Automatic " Ice Box Cake - - using CHOCOLATE graham crackers, FF Cool Whip, and *pre-made* Cozy Shack Low Fat Vanilla Pudding (sold in a 3 cup container, just the right size for the recipe!). I wanted to use the pre-made pudding because it tastes better than instant, PLUS it is sooo thick and creamy (made with tapioca starch) - - it really tastes more like homemade pudding than pre-made. I called my recipe " Automatic " Ice Box Cake because it is made simply by layering all the ingredients - no other preparation! *lol* Here's the recipe, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as my family and I do! - - * Exported from MasterCook * Cherie's Automatic Ice Box Cake Recipe By :Cherie (HersheyBars@...)
