Guest guest Posted August 31, 2001 Report Share Posted August 31, 2001 Kim: I am waiting for Dr Curtis to call me back to let me know when...(prolly Tuesday) Dr Reines told me that aabout 15% of patients need a dilatation and of those, 5 will have a second....3 will have third and 4th and 1 will have a fifth...well guess thats me! lol anyway he said what was happending is that when they do the dilatation , it works for a few days, then becasue of the irratation of the procedure, new scar tissure forms..so this time they are injecting steroids...I don;t care as long as it works....I really really hate CIB...LOL but thats what I am living off of..that and vitamins...call me if you get a chance..i was in Winchendon today and passed thru fitchberg...forgot your number...but thought about you as I passed thru...lol talk to you soon...hugs..MJ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am down about 140 since 8/23/01 and as supposed tomeet with the surgeon but I am scared. My surgery was LAP so recovery was quick but this is more involved. It sounds fron your postings that it went well for you. You have such a positive attitude it seems like it was not too difficult.
