Guest guest
Okay, Molly, here's what I have in the LA Metro area: A Votre Sante, San Vicente Blvd, Brentwood Greek salad the " wheat-free " pasta on the menu is SPELT! Broadway Deli, 3rd St Promenade, Santa has a wheat-free pasta primavera on the menu. It tasted and seemed like rice pasta to me, altho the waitress never did come back to tell me what it was. California Pizza Kitchen Waldorf salad with chicken, no nuts, salad dressing is g-f BBQ sauce is g-f, has corn starch, brown sugar and onion powder BBQ chicken chopped salad all salad dressings are balsamic vinegar Callender's on Wilshire, next to the LA County Museum of Art Tuscan salad - pear, walnuts and cheese (can also add chicken) char-grilled salmon fillet char-grilled lemon -pepper chicken herb-roasted garlic chicken char-grilled vegs and chicken steamed mashed potatoes (also with chicken and cheese) Joe's, 1023 Abbott Kenny Blvd, Venice aware of g-f diet La Serenata, 1416 4th St, Santa aware of g-f diet Pat and 's (chain, funny little coffee shop) lemon mustard chicken Rainforest Cafe (chain in many malls) volcanic cobb salad (order 1/2, it's huge) El Rincon Criollo, 4361 Sepulveda Blvd, Culver City grilled halibut in garlic sauce with onions, rice and beans Schatzi, 3110Main St, Santa fresh fruit with yogurt Wolfgang Puck Cafe chpped vegetable salad cobb salad volcanic cobb salad (order 1/2, it's huge) I have eaten at most of these restaurants, but not all. If I eat something at a restaurant and don't have any ill effects, I assume it's gluten-free. I do react rather quickly if I accidently ingest some gluten, so I think I'm a pretty good measuring stick. However, just to be safe, please, always ask about the gluten status of your food, because chefs, ingredients and recipes can change. I wish you many happy meals out!
