Guest guest
Hi, sorry to hear you're feeling really bad. Yes it sounds like it could be because you increased your dose. I can relate to that, I have felt like that a few times and with me I believe its down to low thyroid and also low cortisol and if you are low in one hormone it will affect the other. Are you taking anything to support your glands? This is really important and can really help to alleviate the low feelings and make you feel you can cope much better. You might find you can tolerate a higher dose with thyroid and adrenal support. Take care, Anne > > Hi, i have been doing 3 day rounds every 4hrs of DMSA for 3 months at > only 6mg. > I was feeling quite good but then i upped my dose to 8mg the last > round and the last day of the round and 3 days later im feeling > suicidal, also my tinnitus has gone through the roof and cant stop > crying. Guest guest
Jack your vitamin C way up....like take 1000mg every four hours. This helped me alot. And get to a sauna..do live near one, or have one at the gym you can use? If not then sweat...a lot... I find that when I feel like this if I go work out for 30 minutes so I am pouring sweat them hit the sauna..it goes away soon after. You can always take an epsom bath too. Or make a sauna in your bathroom, run the hot shower...steam it up good in there..and just sweat all that junk out. I have this problem at the end of every round. Try to sleep too, and keep telling yourself..it's just the metals talking..it's not really me..it will go away! I get this way too, I get moody, and cry and get irritated, and mean...and just insain! > >

Guest guest
Dawn - I had a similar experience after almost 3 months of DMSA. When I added ALA, the depression/suicidal thoughts went away within 2 hours. I think that I had brought the level of mercury down in my body with the DMSA, and mercury started trying to move out of my brain to establish equilibrium. But without a chelator that could cross the blood-brain barrier and hold onto it (ALA), I got depressed. Depression has been one of my major symptoms from mercury toxicity. If you're not already taking an antidepressant, I recommend selegiline, which Andy discusses. I take it in combination with phenylalanine. You can read more about that on the web. I was taking it before I knew I had mercury toxicity, and have had to increase the dose recently with chelation. I now get depressed again when I go off a round, and am trying longer rounds. > > Hi, i have been doing 3 day rounds every 4hrs of DMSA for 3 months at > only 6mg. > I was feeling quite good but then i upped my dose to 8mg the last > round and the last day of the round and 3 days later im feeling > suicidal, also my tinnitus has gone through the roof and cant stop > crying.
