What a shocker. The doc did suggest doing a fasting adrenal test but - jeez, why bother. I saw Dr Rind (who is mentioned on here about his thryroid/adrenal symptom checklist) a couple of years ago and he said my adrenals were very stressed. He prescribed a ton of supplements which didn't really work after 3 mos. One of the supplements I discontinued because it contained alot of ALA. Anyway, kinda discouraging. Makes you wonder what the heck the US medical system is good for now? Do they only detect catastrophic illnesses? Or the politically correct and extremely profitable diagnosis of cancer? Which by the way, could most likely be averted with a more open-minded system. Val
