Gluten free salmon burgers

Today I found Wild Salmon Burgers at a local health food store by a

company called Omega Foods based out of Eugene, Or. They are both

gluten and lactose free, with a very nice seasoning (they contain rice

crumbs, spices, brown rice syrup, but mostly just taste like nice

salmon. I thought they were pretty cool, but a little expensive ($6.50

for a pack of 4). I wanted to see if they were better than trader

joe's salmon burgers. I would say they do have better flavor and

freshness, and I like that they are from wild and not farm raised

salmon (less toxic). Anyway, just thought i'd share. The company web

page is www.omegafoods.net .

Our 4 year old daughter LOVES these!

(she likes to dip them in ranch dressing! Can you believe

that!?!?!?! What an odd mix!) She loves salmon in any way, shape or

form and really loves these salmon burgers. I bought these for the

first time on a whim since they were GF but didn't really think she

would like them... surprise, surpise!

How funny! I went to the website to look

around.....I’m always interested in anything from my home town of Eugene OR! It turns out, this

company is owned by someone I’ve know since childhood. Small world!

I just got home from WF. They indeed have the Omega brand Salmon burgers.... they also have tuna and shrimp. And it does say Gluten Free on the front. They were $5.99. BUT.....there were also 365 brand burgers too! They do NOT say gluten free, but comparing the backs of the boxes was like reading a duplicate of each other only in different formats! Down to the last ingredient and protein gm!! They were $4.49. I took a gamble and bought the 365 brand. Came home with the salmon and the tuna. They're calling me from the freezer too! But it's only 9:30. : ) Hope this helps. kathiseamaiden399 wrote: Yes, I said that- but that was
