Are they a good thing or bad? Meaning does that mean my sons head is growing? He has one on his forehead. We go for an adjustment tomorrow. It has been almost 2 months so I am assuming at this point it means his head is changing? I hope something is happening with his forehead.

Eventually, but sometimes it's taking 12 hours or so.

I would definitely call your ortho about it. We had the same thing happen with our son - he passed all of his skin checks, then on day 2 of full time wear he developed a red spot that did not go away during his hour off. I called CT right away and we got him in for an adjustment. He ended up missing several days in his band because the spot lasted for over a week, but it is now gone and he's back to full time wear. You definitely want to get the spot checked if it's still there - better to get it taken care of before there is any skin breakdown. Then I'd go back to the ortho. They shouldn't be taking longer to fade than they initially were. Also, they should still fade within an hour.
