Hi Jenna,

Late to reply! We decided on ECA over CT primarily because the

plastic surgeon we saw who is apparently one of the top in the

country with children's head and jaw issues (Posnick) recommended

them and thought we would have a better outcome. Also they do not

charge for a second or third device if it is needed.

Our son was born in October of 04, we also noticed flattening

immediately, tried positioning etc. but it did not help. He did

have some assymetry. I started the process when he was about 4.5

months old and he got his helmet at close to six months.

wore the helmet for about 3.5 months and it did a great job.

Good luck with your decision and treatment.
