Guest guest
Today most of the stations in my little town were $2.99-- I found one with gas at $2.79 and got it there -- an Exxon station !!!! It's usually one of the highest here !!! Hugs, Randie Re: gas price OH, my gosh !!!!!!!! I know ours went up 20 cents overnight --- they say it's due to the hurricane closing some of the rigs offshore !!!!! BUT they also showed ALL the MILLIONS of money the oil companies were making lately !!!!!!! The cheapest we saw it here today was $2.58 -- others were in the $2.70s and higher !!!!!! I know we're more fortunate here than other places -- but this is getting ridiculous !!!! TWENTY CENTS at once !!!!!!!!! Hugs, Randie Ours here in Midland were just under 3.00 at some convenience stores yesterday morning. Betty

Guest guest
Yep, My daughter filled both our cars up today on her credit card. the gas was $2.70 here and some places it was already $3.00. I will not be going much either except to baby sit the kids and pick them up from the school. The gas is horrible and it is suppose to just get higher. pepperMelody Moris wrote: I got gas for $2.68 at walmart yesterday - can't guarantee what it is today - I'm not going anywhere LOL I filled it up and parked it These gas prices sure are putting a crimp in my trips to the gym! If I wanted to WALK 20 miles I could walk there, but then who wants to work out after walking 20 miles in 100 degree weather? gee....even walking to town is 7 miles.....I gotta move! Guest guest
Randi has your town took in any of the refugees? I was just wodnering. I seen on the news tonight that there were several busses loaded down with evacuees and they were turned down at the dome because the dome is filled and there is problems there with people fighting. I had to just quit watching the news for awhile. It was really getting me down and I went to one of the shelters today and helped serve food and It is soooooo sad. Guest guest
We finally had to pay $3.09 today for gas. I guess we will be saving some gas while the car is being repaired.

Guest guest
Way to go !!! Thats too funny. I would have did the same thing. I filled up both our cars when it was still $1.79. I got a rental car and it was only half full when I got it so I am trying not to put very much at a time in it. If it had a half tank when I got it then that is whats it gonna have when I take it back!!!
