Guest guest
I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. My son is now 8 months. He has been in a Hanger band since February. His plagio was moderate, the ped sent us to neuro and to see if it was cranio instead of positional plagio. Sutures were open. They thought that his left coronal could be fused. His face in the mirror looks asymmetrical, although just looking at him it is not terribly noticable. Bossing on forehead and flatness on the back of head is on the right side. The left side of his head just in front of his suture is kind of indented. His torticollis (right side) was pretty much ear to shoulder. Full range of motion now, but still tilts a little, no matter how much strengthening excercises we do. The thing is his jaw tilts up on the left. We have been very concerned with his jaw allignment and his gumline. He also has a crooked smile. Tilts to the right (of course I think it is the most beautiful smile in the world) I just wanted to know about your son and the mild craniofacial microsomia. Is his ear affected or just the face/ jaw? Thanks. Michele
