Hi,

I ran searches too and found nothing. If you check out the link Jim sent, can

you tell us if it was the same device?

Also, where did you have the procedure done? Can you give us more info on it?

Thanks,

Edith

Hmmm. Sounds interesting. Give us more details if you have them.

Can this machine attack different levels in the skin? How long does

it take for an average procedure? How about pain during the

procedure? Any side effects and downtime afterward?

I ran several web searches on " supersonic facial " and

the only reference I found was to a steamer device

manufactured by Din Ye Electric in Taiwan. The link is

below. The steamer device is down toward the bottom of

the Din Ye web page. Hope this is not the device. Some

of their other equipment looked even less, mmm,

credible. You mentioned an electrical device. Is this

the device? If not, could you try to find the

manufacturer name for us? Here's the Din Ye link.

http://yellowpage.com.tw/~dinye/p3.htm

Sorry no offense intended but I tried looking it up

and that was all I found.

Like Jim, I've been searching the web too, to no avail. Anybody else

have any luck? Has anyone else heard of or had this procedure done

before?

I'm sure I'm not alone by saying that I'd like to try this. I live in

Chicago though. Perhaps you could speak to your esthetician and get us some

info about the manufacturer to help us all see if there are salons who

utilize this machine in our own hometown areas?.....

Thanks ; Your find looks more likely than the

torture device I located; although there weren't any

specifics as to how it operates at that site, the

device did look electrical in nature.

***

I implied in my original post, but didn't state

directly - steam in the face is highly inadvisable for

the vast majority of us.

sorry if anybody's offended by this. but, i, as well as all of you would

LOVE to find a treatment for rosacea. i hope this is it!! a reasonably

priced treatment that's effective.

it makes me wonder though when there are so many misspellings on the website.

and also right under the supersonic facial machine there is the " magical

wrinkle remover " . bust treatment? is that what the gloves are for?

http://www.magicbeautysupply.com/catalog/FacialTools/FacialTools1.html

come on.......i'm just trying to add a little humor here. but it does kind

of make a person wonder.

bye for now! syd

Hi Everyone,

I don't know if this is similar to the supersonic facial that people have

been talking about.

This is called the Facemaster, sold through the Suzanne Somers website.

It is an electronic facial muscle stimulator.

I first found out about this through my daughter's doctor, who has been

doing accupuncture on her for several treatments The accupunture has helped

her mysterious and severe hand pain tremendously. During the accupuncture

treaments, the doctor uses a little machine that generates a low voltage

current. It has two metal wands on the end of wires, and he holds each one

on different needles that have been inserted into my daughters hands. This

sends energy through her hands, and I can see her muscles twitcing when he

does this. The machine's inventor is also the creator of the facial machine

being sold by Suzanne Somers, my daughter's doctor said. He trained under

Dr. Hansen, and thought him to be a brilliant man.

The Facemaster works on a similar principle as what the doctor uses, but

instead of using accuncture needles, they use cotton swabs touched to the

face to send the current through. It's supposed to stimulate and firm the

muscles. It is marketed more for toning the face and eliminating wrinkles.

I don't know what the implications could be for cea treatment. I am very

curious.

The cost is about $99, and can be ordered from her website. Go to her

website at www.SuzanneSomers.com, and click on Products, then click on

Facemaster.
