When I had my daughter in childbirth class they taught us to do pelvic

tilts to help move baby out of uncomfortable positions, my ddwas laying on my

siatic nerve and I did the pelvic tilts and it worked, maybe it will work for

you too.

Here are the things that I did and/or had suggested to me...

1. sex--semen contains prostaglandin

2. red raspberry tea--for the uterus

3. blue cohash--only works when your ready anyhow--contractions

4. nipple/breast stimulation--I used breastpump

5. walk a lot and squats for labor

One warning about the raspberry tea and black and blue cohosh. It may cause trouble in those with high BP so if you have problems with that, you may want to think twice about using it.

Here is a site for natural induction methods a friend sent me.

Went to the doctor today and my bp was 130/70. They said that is normal. I am just so sore. She is laying on my pelvic bone and has been there for almost three weeks. I just want her out so I can cuddle and hold her and somebody else can carry her for a while. I love being pg but this is getting ridiculous. I am so sore.

I did those when I was horribly uncomfortable (literally could not be in any

other position, my husband thought it was both hysterical and worrisome) and

learned later from my ob that I was probably helping the baby to drop, since

she had dropped at my next appointment. Try it!

Jo Lynn,

Homeopathic Caulophyllum worked well for me. It is a homeopathic version of blue cohosh. It will only work if your body is ready. No side effects. :)

-----Original Message-----From: Jo Lynn Sent: Monday, August 21, 2000 4:50 PMTo: breastfeedingegroupsSubject: Induction questions

I haven't been on here in a while and withdrawl sucks. My sil was babysitting my children and while doing that she was on here while a storm went through and fried my modem :(

Well a little about me. I am 25 (will be 26 on Thursday :(((( ) year old mother of three and #4 on the way. Audrey is 9, will be 3 on my due date (8/30/00) and Dominick ph born to the angels March 23, 1996. I have been with my husband for 10 years and married for three July 20, 1997.

Well I am getting really anxious to have this baby. I was wandering what natural methods I could use to go into labor. HELP!!!!!!

Thanks in advance

Jo Lynn
