Billing question

Doc has two patients, unrelated, with the exact same name. Staff calls

yesterday and says they put the report of the youngster with the same name

in the old mans chart. They need a reprint of the three reports. My

question is when I first transcribed the reports (2 of them from 2002) I

was charging .10 a line. Now I am charging .12 a line. My policy on

contract is I charge 1/2 of the charge for reprints. What would you do?

Charge 1/2 of the price at the time of the original transcription or the

newer charge? What would be fair or just? Thanks for your input.
